Go from INPUT to OUTPUT with Zettelkasten
In a structured non-conversational based job interview, you can't steer as they're scoring you on how you answer the questions. I fell down on tbis recently as they asked me like 30 questions in a short time and told me i had to be brief in my answers. None of my prepared stories fit.
Please do a video on multi passionate people and how to focus on 1 thing and organize yourself.
This was very helpful, thank you so much!
By the way, I wish I had this insight before I got involved in the two last startups I invested in - and lost a lot of money on.
Excellent content, well presented.
Great video, very enlightening, but I have a question: why do you have "depth" on your relationship graph
Great stuff
Just keep it short and blunt.
Thanks for the interesting video on Ikigai 2.0. When I was living in Japan, I was suprised to learn that Ikigai can be something a lot simpler, like taking care of grandchildren or growing flowers. Ikigai at that level is not directly connected to economy and earning money, but about meaningfulness. I have come to realize that if we follow our passions and interest can also be a danger. I know a woman who wanted to be an actress and ended up really poor, with no pension plan and a lot of broken dreams. We need to be clear minded about our passions and the consequences of chasing our dreams. Besides, often a dream turns out to be very different in reality. A realistic mindset is essential in life. But that is also inportant in the process of ikigai. Ikigai is not something we accidentally find, but something we work to discover.
0:50 okay fine I'll rewatch suits
This was a real inspiration for me. Thanks! 🙏🏻
Sorry, off topic, but I’m distracted by your lips. You seem like a woman who has plenty of self confidence and appear to be very intelligent and respectful to others, as I’m sure you are to yourself. I ask myself: Why on earth would she enhance her lips? This obviously is a private question but can you reduce my distraction here? Monty
I CLICKED ON THIS VIDEO THINKING IT SAID “How to make atomic bombs (3 methods no one’s talking about)” AND I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA BE A FUNNY JOKE VIDEO💀💀💀☠️☠️☠️
Thank you for this concise and comprehensive introduction to systems thinking🎉
Ur videos are amazing
I can't seem to get the local graph view on Obsidian - please can anybody tell me why? Thank you
That’s an attention grabbing video! Loved it. My “left” brain immediately revolted against a debunked theory. 😅 As a data point, I started very creative as an artist but got a little bored (and broke 😭 ) and got into UX design and research. I love constraint mixed with creativity and problem solving. You get to cross reference your mental map of the universe with what could be. All cylinders!
Eww propping Bill Gates was forgivable for the context of this video. Then immediately mentioning the Metaverse in a positive way? Beware all of this bootlicker LMAO
Hey Vicky, really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos better than your Editor with good pricing and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?
Great value. Keep it up
You put elonmusk he push antiblack dehumanizing propaganda so i stop watching ur video
Could you make a video about how to go from creative to more analytical? I always find myself trying to solve problems on my own instead of taking the more efficient route of being humble enough to learn from courses/university.
Phenomenal Vicky, thank you.
i've been looking into making a zettelkasten in google docs but your segment on its linear format limiting its users thinking has convinced me otherwise, thank you for sharing
It's been so cool watching you and this channel grow, I've never even thought of the concept of knowledge work and actually organizing all these random notes we accumulate until I saw your Zetelkasten video. Artists and creatives are knowledge workers too!! Keep up the awesome work Vicky, thank you 🤍👏
asked this same question a couple of days ago
👏 Embracing creativity alongside analytical thinking is indeed key to holistic problem-solving. It's inspiring to see the emphasis on merging these approaches for more innovative solutions!

Don’t try to fix what isn’t broken. Branding and presentation is right where it should be.
I clasp my hands (right thumb on top) and immediately thought "isn't that my right-handedness?" and " isn't the left-right brain thing disproven?" and then Vicky said...🤣🤣
LOL I see you :)

GPS - goal, problem, solution
This is beautiful! Thank you for this!
thank you so much❤
hmm feels very surface level. I feel like there should be more than just "here is a framework so you can use to surface "something" out of stakeholders" Goal shouldn't be figuring these 5 themes out, it should be clarity on aligned goals. If you are taking too long to process information, than pursue clarity as the "ultimate" set of questions. Just because someone always asks the same questions in that meeting, doesn't mean those are the right questions you should be asking...this further creates ingroup/outgroup bias. Those who "ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS" are the competent ones
How are these five elements not condusive to finding alignment and clarity?
ohhh tell me more, seems like there's something around ingroup and outgroup you're interested that's related to question asking!
This is one of my favourite videos from Vicky ever! I have set a reminder to review my task manager quarterly and remove any unnecessary tasks.
Why did everyone’s attention span diminish based on one study and why does it apply to every person in every ZIP Code across all ethnicities and all ages why is this? To be clear, this is just nitpicking. I enjoyed the video. Thank you for publishing it. I paid nothing for it.
This speaks to the point Betty Edwards makes after giving drawing exercises that lean on her 5 questions for saturation: study & look for ways to apply these observation tools in intertextual connections.
love the connection to art! Are these the 5 q's from Edwards (Googled her)? 5 aspects that make up drawing skills: - Perception of edges - Perception of spaces - Perception of relationships - Perception of lights and shadows, and - Perception of gestalt
Yes @@VickyZhaoBEEAMP , I think of light and shadow as a study in chiaroscuro: Obscured vs known but also masked [enrobed or shadowed] vs illuminated. What is left our vs included.
This is why I love this channel.
Simple and powerful
I love the increased production value ❤
thank you!!!

Retrieving practice in Obsidian, e.g. vocabulary in language learning: 1. make (produced as a default or only after) a note with notes to repeat (which are titled in a way that you you're gonna have to recall the content inside) 2. open local graph 3. tell a story with retrieving vocabulary
Thanks, Ma'am
